Ingram-Mooto Under Siege!

Images of the Destruction Western Forest Products (WFP) recently moved their bulldozers to the Ingram-Mooto, a series of pristine lakes and rainforest in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest. Operations were shut down at the request of the Heiltsuk Hereditary Chiefs who asked for a one year moratorium on the logging. WFP ignored their request and have resumed operations.

ALERT - Western Forest Products loggers threaten violence

13 July 1998: This weekend, one logger issued a death threat, and one contract foreman warned that if any machinery is damaged, 19 guys on site "will be set loose on us." FAN is deeply opposed to violence of any kind and believes this is deplorable conduct on behalf of the company [more].
