Omega Salmon office
50 people from Laich-Kwil-Tach Nation, FAN, Port Alberni Enviornmental
Coalition, Living Oceans Society, Linnea School, and others gathered
outside of the Omega Salmon office with placards, banners, and First
Nations in full regalia. They were all denied entrance to meet with
Kjell Aasen, Pan Fish manager presiding over the Ocean Falls construction.
Speeches were made by children from a school, environmental groups,
and thanks were made by George Quocksister Sr., and Russel Quocksister.
Media included NewVI TV, CH News, local paper and radio.
